Risk Disclosure
Read this carefully before using Citrine. Automated futures trading is high risk and may not be suitable for you.
Effective date: May 4, 2026
No financial advice
Citrine is self-directed automation software. Citrine Edge does not provide financial, investment, trading, tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to trade, what settings to use, and whether any strategy is appropriate for you.
Futures and perpetual futures risk
Futures, perpetual futures, margin, and leveraged products are complex and high risk. Losses can occur quickly. Leverage can work for you or against you and may amplify losses. You may lose more than expected, and market conditions can change rapidly.
Automation risk
Automation can place, modify, or close orders according to settings, market data, account state, exchange responses, and runtime conditions. Bugs, stale data, connectivity issues, exchange outages, incorrect settings, latency, liquidity changes, fees, slippage, funding, and user error can all cause losses.
Local device risk
Citrine runs locally on an Android device. The app depends on device power, network connectivity, notifications, Android background permissions, battery settings, operating-system behavior, and user monitoring. A phone restart, app termination, lost device, revoked key, exchange rejection, or connectivity loss may interrupt automation.
No guaranteed results
Citrine does not guarantee profits, returns, execution quality, risk reduction, uptime, or any particular outcome. Past performance, simulated performance, and backtests do not guarantee future results.
User responsibility
You are responsible for your Coinbase account, eligibility, credentials, API permissions, trades, positions, orders, taxes, fees, losses, device security, and monitoring. For urgent account, order, or position issues, access Coinbase directly.
