Setup guide
Prepare your phone before you let automation run.
Because Citrine runs locally, Android setup is part of the trading system. Treat device security, notifications, battery policy, and connectivity as operating requirements.
1. Secure the Android device
Enable a strong lockscreen method and biometrics where available. Citrine is designed to use a device access gate before opening the terminal.
2. Install Citrine from the official launch source
Until a real Google Play URL is available, use the launch-list CTA on this website. Do not install APKs from unverified links or messages.
3. Accept risk disclosures
Read the in-app and website risk disclosures before importing credentials. Automated futures trading can cause substantial losses.
4. Allow notifications and foreground runtime
Citrine uses a persistent notification to keep runtime state visible. Android notification permission should remain enabled so you can see whether the local service is live, paused, or needs attention.
5. Complete battery optimization onboarding
Local automation can be interrupted by aggressive battery restrictions. Follow the app's background runtime prompts and periodically verify that Android has not changed app restrictions after system updates.
6. Create and import Coinbase API credentials
Create credentials only on official Coinbase pages, then import the API JSON file into Citrine from the app. Never enter your Coinbase login password into Citrine or this website.
7. Choose market and settings
Review the launch market, threshold, timeframe, risk configuration, trailing-exit behavior, and any other available settings before starting the bot.
8. Start automation and monitor it
Use the app dashboard, bot console, logs, and persistent notification. For urgent account, order, or position issues, access your Coinbase account directly.
